LGBTQ inclusion is more than a simple superficial blurp on the bottom an application or employee handbook, alleging anti-discrimination based on sex, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Those are just words on a page. The alarming lack of inclusion, education, and culturally competent professional atmospheres pose significant barriers to providing and sustaining quality equitable employment opportunities for LGBTQ people, particularly those who identify as transgender.

Transgender professionals of color, are among the highest impacted by lack of professional support, protection, programs, and benefits in the workplace.

Understanding the needs and cultural barriers LGBTQ individuals face in the corporate sector is but the first step in addressing these disparities.

As shifts occur in Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, and Gender Expansive/Gender Non-Conforming communities and culture, so does language, policies and regulations.

Keeping up with standardized requirements in LGBTQ cultural competencies might be impossible for employers and employees who do not identify as LGBTQ.

Our LGBTQ Workplace Competency Training

is conducted by a unique team of professionals from the LGBTQ community. Our LGBTQ-identified trainers know, from first-hand, real-life experience, how such disparities can result in adverse effects, not only for the individuals who endure it, but to a company's entire reputation and brand.
